Terms

This is demonstration copy shipped with a WordPress theme, not a legal document. Replace it with terms written for your own business before publishing.

A useful set of terms for a professional-services firm covers the shape of an engagement, what happens to work in progress if either side stops, who owns what is produced, how invoices are raised and when they fall due, and the limits of liability both parties accept.

The demo firm described elsewhere on this site quotes fixed fees for diagnostics and monthly fees for programmes and retainers, and states that everything produced belongs to the client from the day it is created. Those are plausible commitments, but they are illustrative — they are not yours until your own adviser has written them.
